With Prescience, the wielder can see all possible futures as they branch off in increasing complexity, including those that will never be realized. The more these futures become known to the wielder, the more they diverge from the path of fate.

Koji Kashin refers to those who destabilize the future in this way as heretical existences called "singularities of fate".
