The Okinawa band “seven oops (7!!)” was formed back in 2004 when its three members were in their second year of high school. Last year marked 20 years since their formation, and they continue to perform to this day.
The band name originated from an adaptation of the lead vocalist's name: "Nanae" ("Nana" meaning "seven" in Japanese and "E(h)!!" being a common Japanese exclamation of surprise). Putting these two elements into English, we get the name "seven oops".
