Greetings to all you ninja out there!
This is the Naruto to Boruto: Shinobi Striker Development Team.
We are so grateful to everyone who has been playing Naruto to Boruto: Shinobi Striker.
Have you been enjoying your battles in the brand new Ninja World League since the introduction of the new SS+ items, the addition of Kawaki (Karma Progression), and the inclusion of Summoned Animals? The development team has been listening to what ninja around the world have been saying, and we've been hearing a lot of positive feedback about how cool the additions are, and how much fun people are having, which has given us a huge morale boost. However, we've also seen a lot of comments expressing concern about the uncertain future of SS+ items and Special Master-Ninjutsu Training.
In light of these comments, we've decided to whip up this Developers' Letter Lite in order to share some information about the upcoming SS+ items, and to give you all a sneak peek at the shinobi and items we've been working on.

We'll start off by introducing the SS+ items that'll be included in the next patch! The first SS+ item we have to show you is a ranged type weapon, Inferno Sword "Flame Control"! This ninja blade is styled after Sasuke Uchiha, the shinobi known as the "Supporting Shadow", and his skills. We talked about it a bit in a previous Developers' Letter, but we'll go into more detail this time.
The design of the blade utilizes the same purple color as Sasuke's Susano'o and features the Sharingan on its hilt, culminating in a sword that is dark, yet stylish.
In terms of abilities, using a Normal Attack with this blade calls forth Susano'o to slash alongside you, allowing you to unleash high-speed sword combos! Plus, by using a Strong Attack, you'll be able to unleash the power of Flame Control by transforming black flames and launching them at your foes! These flames pierce through enemies, and deal continuous damage upon contact. While this weapon is effective against single opponents, it shows its true worth when taking on hordes of enemies! Keep your eyes peeled for the brawls that break out near scrolls or flags and aim to gain control of the battle by immolating your foes! Inferno Sword "Flame Control" is scheduled to be added to the Featured Lineup after the maintenance in late July. We hope you're looking forward to it!
Next up, to all those ninja out there who love using defense types, we've kept you waiting long enough! The SS+ weapon that's scheduled to arrive after Inferno Sword "Flame Control" is a defense type weapon! This new SS+ weapon is themed after a certain legendary shinobi, and excels at inflicting damage over a large area! In addition to the weapons in development that are based around characters, we're currently in the process of workshopping weapons with exclusive battle gimmicks that'll add a breath of fresh air to the game. We'll go into greater depth about SS+ item info in the next Developers' Letter scheduled for release towards the end of August, so until then we hope you look forward to what we have in store!

In response to the number of comments we received from ninja around the world, we'd like to give a brief explanation regarding the number of characters that'll be introduced in Season 8. Including Kawaki (Karma Progression), we are on schedule to introduce 4 new characters this season. We are currently planning for one release every three months. In addition, a total of four Special Ninjutsu fitting the theme of "Awakened Tailed Beast" will be released at a similar pace.
The next character that will join the battle will be a defense type, and we are working hard to develop Jutsu worthy of this shinobi known for defending their comrades with Genjutsu. We'll share more information about this in the next Developers' Letter as well, so sit tight!
