What Is Shinobi Striker?
It's time to determine the world's greatest ninja in the Ninja World League!

In this second Developers' Letter, we will be going over the new character addition, Boruto Uzumaki (Karma Progression), as well as other information on what's coming in the next update!

Boruto Uzumaki (Karma Progression)
This form of Boruto brings forth amazing physicality, and is able to launch surprise attacks from any distance. His acrobatics and speed are top-class even within Shinobi Striker, and allow him to employ a powerful attack in which he throws multiple kunai at once! Be sure to take note of Boruto's cool, Momoshiki-like movements!

Ninjutsu 1 - Flash Slice
After carrying out a super-armored (unable to be interrupted by enemy attacks), high-speed dashing strike at an enemy, a further follow-up overhead attack will be performed. This Ninjutsu also negates enemy super armor.
The forward dash distance isn't very far, but its speed makes it an effective surprise attack.
Also, Flash Slice will be able to set up even more follow-up attacks! We recommend Ninjutsu or Ninja Tools with quick startups such as Fire Style: Fire Ball Jutsu, Super Beast Scroll (Bird), or Demon Wind Shuriken. Try using a variety of techniques to make your own original combos.

A Ninjutsu that lets you switch between two types of Rasengan.
A Vanishing Rasengan that cannot be seen activates with this Ninjutsu, and holding the button down will power it up into a Giant Rasengan!
If you need a quick attack to use in a combo, go with the Vanishing Rasengan, and if you want to dominate your foes from a distance, use the Giant Rasengan. This one Ninjutsu alone grants flexibility in multiple situations!

Secret Technique - Karma Awakening
Unleash the Karma's power to greatly strengthen your physical capabilities! Also, it reduces Ninjutsu and Ninja Tool cooldown times, and applies attack power boosts to both. But that's not all! You can also use an additional input to move you directly above your target and activate Massive Rasengan.
Furthermore, this Secret Technique is the first of its kind, granting self-buffs for ranged types!
These effects are extremely powerful, allowing continuous fire of Ninjutsu and Ninja Tools to bring an unrelenting storm upon your enemies. There are various synergies between different Ninjutsu and Ninja Tools, so be sure to experiment and find your favorite combinations!

Let's take a look at the new Special Ninjutsu, Magnet Style: Gold Dust Great Burial!
This defense type Ninjutsu uses gold dust and is a specialty of the Fourth Kazekage.

The jutsu creates a wall of gold dust, and with an additional input the wall moves forward, damaging any enemy in its path.
Not only can it be used for defense, it's also a great projectile and combo tool, making it valuable for many styles of play.

・Secret Technique Gauge Increase Rate for Ranged Types
Here are some particulars on the buffs to the Secret Technique gauge for ranged types we mentioned in the last letter!
Shinobi Striker's system works in that, depending on type, specific actions will make it easier to fill the Secret Technique gauge. The actions are as follows:
Attack Type: Landing attacks at close range
Ranged Type: Landing attacks with Ninja Tools
Defense Type: Taking attacks or damage via Earth Style: Mud Wall, Sand Shield, or other similar shielding Ninjutsu
All Types: Healing with Recovery Ninjutsu or recovering via Ninja Tools
(Though it does apply to all types, this is most effective for healing types)
For this round of balance adjustments, in order to increase the attacking power of ranged types, we're making it so that landing Ninja Tool attacks with a ranged type will increase the Secret Technique gauge by 1.25 times the previous rate. Due to this having wide-reaching influence, the actual numerical change isn't very large. However, the cumulative effect should result in a greater threat of Secret Technique usage from ranged types.
・Individual Ninjutsu Balance Adjustments
First off, Teleportation Jutsu and Almighty Push will be receiving downward adjustments.
We think that the buffs they received in the previous adjustments led to greater usability. However, based on analysis of user data, we've judged them to be a bit too strong. So the Teleportation Jutsu's movement speed and attack tracking ability increases will be lowered, while Almighty Push's cooldown time will be lengthened, reducing its repeatability.
Of course, these aren't all the changes. Many other adjustments will be implemented, such as a broadening of C4 Karura's attack range and an increase to the falling boulder's speed when using Heaven Concealed. For more details, please see the patch notes in-game.
We plan to continue making additional changes as we monitor the impact of these adjustments on the battle environment and user data.

Available to use for all types, it fires 3 chakra-infused arrows, inflicting huge damage on hit. If it hits a wall or the ground, it deploys a spider web debuffing area that greatly reduces the target's movement speed.

Let this fiery snare drag your enemies toward defeat!
A Scientific Ninja Tool in the shape of a chain hook. Usable by attack and defense types, throw the hook at an opponent and inflict continuous burn damage on hit. You'll also pull them in closer to you, so it makes for a great combo tool.
