With the enemy's sudden appearance, Naruto, the Seventh Hokage and leader of the village, has vanished. Shikamaru, the Hokage's aide, feels this is a grave situation and visits the Uzumaki household with a group of subordinates. Unable to discount the possibility that Kawaki is a spy for the Kara, he is suspicious of Kawaki and decides to place him under house arrest within a barrier for the time being.
