SUMMARY
Almost two and a half years have passed since the intense battle at the Final Valley. Returning to the village after his training with Jiraiya, Naruto is reunited with Sakura, who has become a noteworthy medical ninja, Kakashi, and the rest of his friends who have also grown stronger during his absence. However, there is little time to celebrate as shocking news reaches the Hidden Leaf Village. Gaara, who is now the Hidden Sand Village's Kazekage, has been kidnapped by Akatsuki! The organization has begun moving to capture all the Tailed Beasts. Naruto being all too familiar with the pain and isolation that comes with being a Jinchuriki, is enraged at Akatsuki for kidnapping his friend and is worried about his safety. Under the orders of the current Hokage Tsunade, Naruto forms a three-man squad with Sakura and Kakashi to rescue Gaara. Will they be able to counter the overwhelming power of Akatsuki?! Meanwhile, what fate awaits Sasuke as Orochimaru prepares for his triumphant return?! A storm brews as their battles unfold!
